The purpose of the Alabama Military Hall of Honor is to honor Alabama’s military heroes and to provide a permanent and visible tribute to them. In addition to the main purpose, when properly funded and staffed, it will serve as a valuable tourism and educational vehicle providing tours for the public as well as students from all over the State of Alabama. The board may adopt rules and bylaws as may be needed to carry out its functions. The number and qualifications of persons selected for installation annually shall be in accordance with the following: Once each year the board will meet to consider nominations and choose new members to be inducted into the Hall as prescribed by the bylaws. These new members must have, by their military achievements and service, made outstanding contributio
