Text

It is the intent of the Legislature that each fiscal year, beginning with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2007, if the beginning of the year balance in the Children First Trust Fund is not equal to or greater than one-half of the total amount of the appropriations for that fiscal year from the Children First Trust Fund, the amount necessary to bring the balance in the Children First Trust Fund to one-half of the appropriations from the Children First Trust Fund for that fiscal year shall be transferred to the Children First Trust Fund from the State General Fund, or from any other fund from which the Finance Director may determine funds are available for transfer to the Children First Trust Fund.
