Text

The county commission in any county shall have the power and is hereby authorized to appropriate out of the public funds of the county such sum or sums of money, as it may deem wise to be expended by the county department for the relief of children under 18 years of age. Disbursements shall be made upon itemized statements approved by the county director. This shall not be interpreted so as to limit the power of the judge of the juvenile court to make orders for the care of children adjudged dependent, neglected or delinquent. The county commission and the incorporated municipalities within the county may make joint appropriations for office space, the maintenance thereof and supplies.
