§ 38-2-10 — Authority of State Department with Respect to Granting of Public Assistance

The state department is authorized and it shall be its duty to develop standards of assistance for the administration of the various public assistance programs in the state, to administer these programs through county departments of human resources and to provide such forms, records, reports and rules of procedure as may be necessary in order to obtain uniform practices with respect to public assistance throughout the state. The state department shall make such reports and furnish such information as shall be required by the social security administration in the administration of the public assistance program.
