§ 37-9-13 — Interstate Rates, Services, Etc
The commission shall have authority to investigate all interstate rates, fares, charges, classifications and services, or rules or practices in relation thereto, for or in relation to the interstate transportation of property or passengers by aircraft, where any act in relation thereto shall take place within, or affect the commerce of, the state. When such rates, fares, charges or classifications are, in the opinion of the commission, excessive or discriminatory or are levied or laid in violation of the act of Congress entitled “The Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938,” approved June 23, 1938, and the acts amendatory thereof and supplementary thereto, or in conflict with the rules, orders or regulations of the authorities having jurisdiction thereof, or when such services are, in the opinion of
