Text
Every railroad conductor and engineer in this state shall carry on his person while on duty in train service a conductor/engineer’s qualification permit. Every company, association, person or other entity which employs or permits railroad conductors and engineers to engage in train service shall issue to such person a qualification permit. Such permit shall include the conductor or engineer’s name, address, physical description, date of birth and a certification that such person is qualified as a conductor or engineer. Notwithstanding any provision of the law to the contrary, whenever a conductor or engineer of a train is requested to show proof of his identity under the provisions of this title, in connection with operations of such train, to any law enforcement officer, such conductor or
