§ 34-8-26 — Register of Applicants; Roster of Contractors; Annual Report; Investigation and Report of Complaints

The secretary-treasurer shall keep a record of the proceedings of the board and a register of the applicants for license, showing for each the date of application, name, qualifications, place of business, and whether the license was granted or refused. The books and register of this board shall be prima facie evidence of all matters recorded therein, and a certified copy of such books or register, under the seal of the board, attested by its secretary, shall be received in evidence in all courts in this state in lieu of the original. A roster showing the names and places of business of all licensed general contractors shall be prepared by the secretary of the board as soon as convenient after the board first meets each year.
