Text

A doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy licensed to practice medicine in any state of the United States or the District of Columbia who may be called into this state in order to treat a patient in consultation with a physician licensed to practice medicine in this state shall be allowed the temporary privilege of practicing medicine in this state. This privilege shall be limited to 10 calendar days in a calendar year. A doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy licensed to practice medicine in any state in the United States or the District of Columbia who accompanies a patient being transported to the State of Alabama by air or ground transportation for the purpose of receiving medical treatment at any hospital, clinic, or medical facility in the State of Alabama shall be permitted t
