§ 34-24-275 — Renewal; Continuing Education

Every licensed podiatrist who desires to continue the practice of podiatry shall annually, on or before the first of October, pay to the secretary-treasurer of the state board a renewal registration fee in a reasonable amount set by the board and comply with such other conditions as may be prescribed by the State Board of Podiatry; provided, however, that the license shall be renewed within 30 days after October first, or the licensee shall pay the renewal registration fee and a penalty of $300. Among the conditions to be prescribed by the State Board of Podiatry is the requirement that evidence be furnished by the applicant for renewal of completion of a continuing education program.
