§ 34-21-25 — Disciplinary Actions; Administrative Fines; Voluntary Disciplinary Alternative Program

(a)For disciplinary purposes, the board may adopt, levy, and collect administrative fines not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) per violation and may institute any legal proceedings necessary to effect compliance with this chapter against the holder of any license, permit, certificate, or approval issued by the board or the holder of a multistate privilege to practice nursing in this state.
(b)(1) The board may also deny, revoke, place on probation with conditions for continued practice, suspend, require the evaluation of, impose continuing education requirements upon, or otherwise discipline any applicant for or holder of any license, permit, certificate, or approval issued by the board or holder of a multistate privilege to practice in this state, upon proof of any of the followin
