Text
The applicant shall pay to the Building Commission a registration or renewal fee of three hundred dollars ($300) per calendar year; provided, however, that the registration or renewal fee may be adjusted by the Building Commission as may be necessary to cover the costs and expenses of performing the duties of the Building Commission as required by this chapter, it being intended that the registration and renewal fees shall not produce a profit to the State of Alabama. Prior to any adjustment to the registration or renewal fee, the Building Commission shall certify to the Legislative Council of the Legislature that the adjustment is necessary in order to comply with the provisions of this chapter.
