(a)The Alabama Board of Funeral Services shall hold not less than one joint meeting of both divisions quarterly for the purpose of reviewing financial, budgetary, and employment matters. The quarterly meetings to be held at a time and place as the board may determine after notice of the meeting has been given in the manner prescribed herein at least 15 days prior to the meeting. The board may hold other meetings as the board may deem necessary. A majority of the appointed members shall constitute a quorum authorized to transact general business in the name of the board. Upon the executive director serving on October 1, 2023, leaving office, two-thirds of the appointed members of each division shall constitute a quorum for the purposes of selecting an executive director and establishing fe
