THIS SECTION WAS REPEALED BY ACT 2026-18, EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2026. Any person who pilots a foreign vessel, or an American vessel under register, or any other vessel subject to the payment of pilotage fees under the provisions of this chapter, entering or leaving the Port of Mobile, in or out of the Bay of Mobile or over the outer bar thereof, without a license from the State Pilotage Commission, is guilty of a misdemeanor and is entitled to no fee or reward for such services and, upon conviction of such misdemeanor, shall be fined not less than $50.00 and not more than $500.00 for each offense and shall be sentenced to hard labor for the county for a period of not less than 30 days and not more than 60 days.
