§ 24-5-14 — Penalties; Disposition of Funds
(a)Whoever violates this article or any regulation or order issued under this article shall be liable for a civil penalty of not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each such violation. Each violation of any section of this article or regulation or order shall constitute a separate violation with respect to each manufactured home or with respect to each failure or refusal to allow or perform an act required thereby, except that the maximum civil penalty may not exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000) for any related series of violations occurring within one year from the date of the first violation. Before the commission shall impose a civil penalty it shall first advise the violator of its intention to do so and hold a hearing on the violation no sooner than two weeks after notif
