Text
Any county road constructed with Rural Access Program funds under this article shall be maintained by the county in which the road is located. At the time that an application for Rural Access Program funds in the construction of any county road or county roads is approved, the county shall make provisions for the maintenance of the road or roads thereafter in accordance with standards established by the Department of Transportation and shall enter into an agreement with the Department of Transportation pertaining thereto. In the event any county shall fail to maintain to the satisfaction of the Department of Transportation any county road constructed pursuant to this article, the Department of Transportation may thereafter decline to enter into further contracts pursuant to this article wi
