Text

(a)As used in this section, the terms “vaccination” and “vaccine” mean any injection intended to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or minimize the effects of COVID-19, irrespective of whether or not the injection meets the classical definition of vaccine.
(b)Notwithstanding Section 22-8-4, no minor may receive a vaccination without the written consent of the minor’s parent or, if applicable, legal guardian.
(c)Institutions of education may not inquire into the vaccination status of a minor student without the written consent of the minor’s parent or, if applicable, the legal guardian.
(d)The Attorney General may commence a civil action to enjoin a threatened or continuing violation of this section.
