§ 22-50-82 — Development of Educational Programs and Services; Instructors and Training

(a)Subject to Section 22-50-84, the Department of Public Health may develop educational programs and services concerning Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related diseases. These programs and services shall be offered to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or related diseases, the families of these individuals, and the general public.
(b)(1) The department may provide instructors to train and provide support to each of the following: a. Members of the families of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or similar diseases. b. Health care providers who provide care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or similar diseases at the home of the individual or a member of the family of the individual, or a similar residential location. c.
