Text
The purposes of this article are:
(1)To enable Alabamians with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or related diseases to live with dignity in their homes or community for as long as possible.
(2)To develop services that follow individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or related diseases and maintain their independence in the community.
(3)To provide appropriate services for Alabamians with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or related diseases residing in both rural and urban settings.
(4)To emphasize and implement cost-efficient, low-technology, high-yield services that can currently benefit thousands of Alabama citizens.
(5)To allow Alabamians to pay for services based on their individual resources.
