Text

(a)A brownfield redevelopment district formed and incorporated pursuant to Section 22-30E-14 shall be governed by a board of directors who shall have and exercise all power and authority of the district.
(b)The board of directors shall be appointed by the governing body of the establishing local government and composed of the number of directors, provided not less than three, and for the terms of office as provided for in the articles of incorporation. Any officer of the local government or owner of any affected property within the district, regardless of residence, may serve as a director of the district. The board shall elect a chair, vice chair, and secretary-treasurer from the members of the board.
