Text

This chapter shall govern and it shall authorize the Board of Health to regulate only emergency medical care provided outside of hospitals, EMSP who provide care outside of hospitals, provider services ground ambulances, air ambulances, ALS nontransport services, the training of EMSP who provide care outside of hospitals, and orders given for emergency medical care to be provided outside of hospitals. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, authorized drugs and fluids for emergency medical care and services may be purchased from any reliable source, including wholesalers, distributors, and hospitals. To the extent medical care and nursing care provided within hospitals is governed by other provisions of law, those provisions of law shall not be construed to have been repealed
