The school established at Huntsville, Alabama, known as and called J.
F.Drake State Technical College is and shall remain a body corporate under the corporate name of J.
F.Drake State Community and Technical College, and by that name may have and exercise all powers previously enjoyed by J.
F.Drake State Technical College and shall succeed to all the rights, privileges, obligations, liabilities, emoluments, benefits, interests, and titles at any time vested in the institution in its respective names. None of the powers, authority, obligations, liabilities, or functions of the institution shall be abated or impaired by this section.
