§ 16-60-38 — Petition for Conversion to Trade School and Junior College; Authority of Board of Trustees If Petition Granted

If the Board of Trustees of the Northwest Alabama Junior College, established pursuant to this article, determines that it is to the advantage of the college to convert it to a trade school and junior college which may be constructed, enlarged and equipped under Sections 16-60-80 through 16-60-96, it may petition the State Board of Education to consider designating such college as the location at which one of the trade schools and junior colleges authorized by such sections may be constructed and equipped. If the State Board of Education acts favorably on the petition and designates the Northwest Alabama Junior College as one of the institutions to be constructed and equipped under such sections, then the Board of Trustees of the Northwest Alabama Junior College is hereby authorized to exe
