The board may acquire and hold real and personal property and may lease, rent, convey, and dispose of real and personal property and may make such repairs and improvements on all property under its control as may be in the best interests of the community and technical colleges and, subject to the approval of a three-fifths majority of the membership of the board, may acquire, sell, and convey title to real estate.
