§ 13A-12-294 — Collection of Fee

The Director of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency shall establish and collect a nonrefundable fee in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25) for costs incurred by the department in the administration of this division. The fee shall be in addition to the fees established under Section 32-6-17. The additional fee shall be collected upon application for reinstatement and the proceeds shall be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the Highway Traffic Safety Fund for the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency. All money deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the Highway Traffic Safety Fund for the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency shall be expended by the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency for law enforcement purposes.
