Text

(a)It shall be unlawful for any person to possess, transport, or receive or attempt to possess, transport, or receive a destructive device, explosive, or bacteriological or biological weapon with the knowledge or intent that it shall be used to kill or injure an individual or to destroy a public building. A person convicted of a violation of this subsection shall be guilty of a Class A felony.
(b)Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, and in addition to any other penalty imposed under the laws of this state or of the United States, any person who shall knowingly use or knowingly attempt to use a destructive device, explosive, or bacteriological or biological weapon to kill or injure any individual, including a public safety officer performing his or her duties as a d
