§ 12-19-3 — Phasing of State Assumption of Financial Responsibility for Unified Judicial System

The state assumption of financial responsibility for the Unified Judicial System shall be phased over three fiscal years as follows:

(1)The state shall be responsible for the following beginning in the 1975-76 fiscal year: a. Salaries and expenses of the Supreme Court, the Court of Criminal Appeals and the Court of Civil Appeals; b. Salaries and expenses of the Judicial Inquiry Commission, the Court of the Judiciary, the Judicial Compensation Commission, the Permanent Study Commission on Alabama’s Judicial System and the Judicial Conference; c. Salaries and expenses of circuit judges and supernumerary and retired justices and judges; d.
