Text

It is the intention of the Legislature that the Office of Prosecution Services be funded from the several district attorney or solicitor funds of all 39 judicial circuits. This article hereby authorizes the lawful custodians of such funds to contribute moneys for the administration of the Office of Prosecution Services. Such custodians shall be required to remit, on a monthly basis, 10 percent of the moneys collected for their respective district attorney or solicitor funds to the Office of Prosecution Services; provided, that nothing contained in this article shall prohibit such custodians from contributing over and above 10 percent of the moneys collected for their respective district attorney or solicitor funds.
