Text

No expenditures for any new construction, additions, or replacements to the municipal electric distribution system, or the equipment used by the same, shall be made by the board where the total expense will be more than $5,000.00 without the consent and approval of the governing body of the municipality. This section shall not affect or repeal any local law now in effect.
