Text
(a)GIVING NOTICE. The United States trustee must immediately
notify the person selected as trustee how to qualify and, if appli-
cable, the amount of the trustee’s bond.
(b)ACCEPTINGTHEPOSITIONOFTRUSTEE.
(1)Trustee Who Has Filed a Blanket Bond. A trustee selected
in a Chapter 7, 12, or 13 case who has filed a blanket bond
under Rule 2010 may reject the office by notifying the court
and the United States trustee in writing within 7 days after
receiving notice of selection. Otherwise, the trustee will be
considered to have accepted the office.
(2)Other Trustees. Any other person selected as trustee may
accept the office by notifying the court and the United States
trustee in writing within 7 days after receiving notice of selec-
