UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT

DISTRICT OF NEVADA

Case No.: 2:20-cv-01535-JAD-BNW 4 Derrick Williams,

Plaintiff Order Adopting Report & Recommendation 6 and Dismissing Action v. 7 Mark Radi, et al., 8 [ECF No. 14]

Defendants. 10 11 On July 28, 2021, the magistrate judge screened the plaintiff’s complaint, dismissed it, 12 and ordered the plaintiff to file an amended complaint by August 27, 2021. The plaintiff was 13 warned that his failure to file an amended complaint by that deadline would result in a 14 recommendation that this case be dismissed.1 When the plaintiff filed nothing by that deadline, 15 the magistrate judge entered a report and recommendation that this case be dismissed.2 The 16 deadline for the plaintiff to object to that recommendation was October 1, 2021, and the plaintiff 17 neither filed objections nor moved to extend the deadline to do so. “[N]o review is required of a 18 magistrate judge’s report and recommendation unless objections are filed.”3 Having reviewed 19 the R&R, I find good cause to adopt it, and I do.
