Opinion
A party has the same time to plead; after oyer is given, as he had at the time it was demanded; that is, if he had fifteen days to plead at the time he demanded oyer, he has fifteen days after oyer is given, and so in other cases. The time which elapses between the demand of oyer and the giving of it, is not to'be counted as a part of the time allowed for pleading.
