Opinion

REYNOLDS, Chief Justice.

Opal Lee Walker’s appeal to the county court from a justice court judgment rendered in a forcible detainer action, which involved nonpayment of rent, was dismissed for want of jurisdiction. Aggrieved by the county court’s judgment of dismissal, Walker contends on appeal that Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 749c unconstitutionally deprived her of the right to appeal in forma pauperis.
