Opinion

PER CURIAM.

Because venue properly lies only in Dade County under section 47.011, Florida Statutes (1995), there was no basis for and clear error in the trial court’s sua sponte transfer of this case to Broward County where the plaintiff apparently resides. The order is therefore reversed without prejudice to the trial court’s consideration of any motion properly filed under section 47.122, Florida Statutes (1995) or the forum non conveniens doctrine.
