Opinion of the Court
A general court-martial composed of officer members at Cherry Point, North Carolina, convicted appellant, contrary to his pleas, of conspiracy to commit adultery; consensual sodomy; assault with a means likely to inflict grievous bodily harm; adultery (6 specifications); and fraternization, in violation of Articles 81,125,128, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 881, 925, 928, and 934, respectively. The members sentenced him to a dismissal, confinement for 7 years, and total forfeitures. The convening authority reduced the confinement to 4 years, with 2 years suspended for 4 years, but approved the remainder of the sentence. The Court of Military Review
