State v. Cannon

809 S.E.2d 567
Supreme Court of North Carolina·Decided March 2, 2018·No. No. 276A17·Published

Opinion

PER CURIAM.

The decision of the Court of Appeals is affirmed. However, we specifically disavow that court's taking of judicial notice of the prevalence of Wal-Mart stores in Gastonia and in the area between Gastonia and Denver, as well as of the "ubiquitous nature of Wal-Mart stores." State v. Cannon , ---N.C. App. ----, ----, 804 S.E.2d 199, 202 (2017).

AFFIRMED.
