Opinion
We overrule the sole assignment of error upon our determination that the trial court properly entered judgment against the appellants in the amount of $100,000 on the recognizance executed by the appellants as sureties for the appearance before the court of defendant Aswad Bandele. The trial court properly "adjudged forfeit" the bail posted by the appellants, when Bandele failed to appear before the trial court on the date set for trial. See R.C.
We, therefore, affirm the judgment of the trial court.
Further, a certified copy of this Judgment Entry shall constitute the mandate, which shall be sent to the trial court under App.R. 27. Costs shall be taxed under App.R. 24.
Doan, P.J., Sundermann and Shannon, JJ.
Raymond E. Shannon, retired, from the First Appellate District, sitting by assignment.
