Statement of the Case

Nature of the Case: Radiologists Michael Sickels and James Christopher Cole sued hospital Shannon Medical Center, alleging it failed to properly monitor, report, and restrict their exposure to radiation.

CR. 4-12. A third party, Shannon Clinic, employed both radiologists to work at Shannon Medical Center. CR. 119-123. The dispute here is whether their claims are health care liability claims. CR. 7-9; 45-77.
