PER CURIAM.

The court awarded a mother a judgment for delinquent fixed support payments, but declined to award interest. This was error. Nicols v. Nicols, 531 So.2d 1066 (Fla. 4th DCA 1988); Leone v. Weed, 474 So.2d 401 (Fla. 4th DCA 1985); Butchart v. Butchart, 469 So.2d 965 (Fla. 4th DCA 1985); Melvin v. Melvin, 391 So.2d 691 (Fla. 1st DCA 1980). This matter is returned to the trial court for an appropriate award of interest on the delinquent amounts.

Reversed and remanded with directions.
