Fourth Court of Appeals

San Antonio, Texas

MEMORANDUM OPINION

No. 04-26-00479-CV

Rebecca DAVALOS,

Appellant

v.

Anna DAVALOS,

Appellee

From the 37th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2023-CI-07893 Honorable Tina Torres, Judge Presiding

PER CURIAM

Sitting: Rebeca C. Martinez, Chief Justice Irene Rios, Justice

Velia J. Meza, Justice

Delivered and Filed: August 19, 2026 DISMISSED FOR WANT OF PROSECUTION The clerk’s record in this case was originally due to be filed on June 26, 2026, but was not filed. On June 29, 2026, the Bexar County District Clerk filed a notification of late record stating that the clerk’s record had not been filed because appellant Rebecca Davalos had not paid the fee to prepare the record. We therefore ordered appellant to, by July 20, 2026, file written proof in this court that she had paid or made arrangements to pay the district clerk’s fee to prepare and file the clerk’s record for this appeal. We cautioned appellant that if she did not file written proof that she

had paid or made arrangements to pay for the clerk’s record, this appeal would be dismissed for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 37.3(b).

Appellant did not respond to our order. Accordingly, we dismiss this appeal for want of prosecution.
