PER CURIAM.

Christopher J. Pierce appeals his conviction and sentence for an offense occurring on February 29, 1996. We affirm the conviction without further discussion. We remand this case to the trial court, however, to reconsider the sentence. See Smith v. State, 761 So.2d 419 (Fla. 2d DCA 2000).

Convictions affirmed; remanded to reconsider sentencing.
