Government contract; claim for increased costs as result of an underrun in estimated quantity of borrow excavation.

On an offer of plaintiffs to compromise and settle the litigation, which was accepted by the defendant; and on a stipulation entered into by the parties; and on the report of a commissioner recommending judgment in the agreed amount; judgment for the plaintiffs was entered in the sum of $56,484.50.
