On an offer of plaintiffs to compromise and settle the litigation, which was accepted by the defendant; and on a stipulation entered into by the parties; and on the report of a commissioner recommending judgment in the agreed amount; judgment for the plaintiffs was entered in the sum of $56,484.50.
