Opinion

On order of the Court, the motion to remand is GRANTED in part. We VACATE the judgment of the Court of Appeals and we REMAND this case to the Court of Appeals, which shall hold this case in abeyance pending its decision in People v. Washington, 321 Mich.App. 276, 908 N.W.2d 924 (2017) ). After Washington is decided, the Court of Appeals shall reconsider this case in light of Washington .

We do not retain jurisdiction.
