Opinion

Crew III, J.

Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Mathews, J.), rendered February 6, 1998 in Broome County, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of conspiracy in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (two counts) and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (two counts).

Defendant appeals from his conviction and sentence, after a jury trial, for conspiring to commit the crimes of criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance, as well as two counts each of the substantive crimes of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for which he was sentenced to, among other things, 20 years to life imprisonment. On this appeal, defendant contends that while the evidence may have established his participation in a conspiracy with some, but not all, members of the conspiracy, it was not legally sufficient to prove that he was a member of a [935]*935single integrated conspiracy. For the reasons that follow, we disagree and affirm.
