v
William Morse, appellant. (S.C.I. No. 2332/17)
Paul Skip Laisure, New York, NY (Kathleen Whooley of counsel), for appellant.
Richard A. Brown, District Attorney, Kew Gardens, NY (John M. Castellano, Johnnette Traill, and William H. Branigan of counsel; Deanna Russo on the memorandum), for respondent.
DECISION & ORDER
Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from a sentence of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Toni Cimino, J., at plea; Gia Morris, J., at sentence), imposed November 8, 2017, upon his plea of guilty, on the ground that the sentence was excessive.
ORDERED that the sentence is affirmed.
The defendant's valid waiver of his right to appeal precludes appellate review of his contention that the sentence imposed was excessive (see People v Bradshaw, 18 NY3d 257, 264-267; People v Ramos, 7 NY3d 737, 738; People v Lopez, 6 NY3d 248, 255; People v Stanley, 99 AD3d 955).
MASTRO, J.P., MILLER, DUFFY and LASALLE, JJ., concur.
