Opinion

Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County (Harrington, J.), rendered April 1, 1986, convicting him of assault in the first degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed (see, People v Lopez, 71 NY2d 662, 666; People v Suitte, 90 AD2d 80). Bracken, J. P., Kooper, Lawrence, Balletta and O’Brien, JJ., concur.
