HOLLAND, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding with a civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On August 27, 2019, Chief District Judge Mueller ordered defendants to inform the court when the Ninth Circuit issued its opinion in related case Rico v. Ducart, No. 2:17-cv-1402 KJM DB P. On May 6, 2021, the Ninth Circuit issued its mandate in that case and an order filed November * 20, 2020 became effective. Rico v. Ducart, 980 F.3d 1292. Defendants have not responded to the August 27, 2019 order. This court will order defendants to file a status report. ITIS HEREBY ORDERED that within twenty days of the filed date of this order, defendants shall inform the court of the status of this case and propose a schedule for proceeding.
