Stein, J.

Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Ulster County (Feeney, J.H.O.), entered January 7, 2010, which, among other things, partially granted respondent’s application, in four proceedings pursuant to Family Ct Act article 6, to modify a prior order of custody.

Petitioner (hereinafter the mother) and respondent (hereinafter the father) are the parents of two sons, Charles III (hereinafter Chase) and Blake (born in 1997 and 2001, respectively). The mother lives with her husband, Dennis Lowe, Lowe’s 17-year-old son and another son of hers from a different relationship.
