Opinion

This cause came on to a hearing on the 23d March, 1785/ and on the 2d April following, this entry is made in the register’s book, « Ordered, that this hill be dismissed with costs.” There are no reasons or grounds of the decree of the court put on record; for it was then' the general practice of the court to assign the reasons of their judgment verbally.
