On the court’s own motion, it is determined that Honorable Bertram R. Gelfand is suspended, with pay, effective immediately, from his office of Surrogate, Bronx County, pending disposition of his request for review of a determination of the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Concur: Judges Simons, Kaye, Alexander, Titone and Hancock, Jr. Taking no part: Chief Judge Wachtler and Judge Bellacosa.
