6 N.Y. St. Rep. 867
New York Court of Appeals·Decided February 15, 1887·Published

Opinion

Barnard, P. J.

The statute in respect to the summary review of assessments by this court, is new, and its construction is of great practical importance to persons claiming the protection of this act, as well as to the assessors. The question is not free from doubt, and, therefore, the leave to go to the court of appeals should be granted.

Motion granted, without costs.
